Mason Hayes
Mason was born and raised in East Texas, where he grew up competing in football, basketball, baseball, and track. A standout athlete, he earned all-state honors in multiple sports during high school.
He went on to play football at Texas State University, where he served as a team captain before graduating in 2019. During his college years, Mason also interned with top leaders in the sports performance industry, laying the foundation for his coaching career.
After graduation, Mason became a performance coach at APEC in Fort Worth, TX. He eventually took on the role of Training Director, leading programming across all athlete levels and heading coaching for professional sports and NFL Combine prep.
Today, Mason serves as VP of Sports Performance at Elite Performance, where he oversees training systems, program design, and facility operations. He has worked extensively with athletes from the NFL, MLB, NCAA, PGA tour, professional soccer, and more. In addition, he spends time consulting with numerous professional teams across various sports.
Mason is deeply committed to continuing education in the field of human performance. He frequently speaks at coaching and training seminars and is known for his passion for developing both athletes and fellow coaches.
He currently lives in Frisco, TX, and remains dedicated to optimizing human performance through innovation, education, and elite-level coaching.

Karlee Torisk
Born in Amarillo, Texas, Karlee began her athletic journey horseback riding, competing in barrel racing. After moving to Fort Worth, she became a multi-sport athlete — participating in basketball, volleyball, baseball, track, soccer, and more. Over time, soccer became her true passion, and she was determined to committing herself to competing at the collegiate level.
Karlee played Division I soccer at Texas State University from 2019 to 2022, then continued her college career at Dallas Baptist University, where she played for two seasons from 2022 to 2023. After graduating, she spent a summer competing at a higher level of soccer with Aurora FC in Minnesota.
Her experience as a college athlete sparked a passion for sports performance. She quickly realized that talent alone isn’t enough — it takes strength, speed, recovery, and consistent training to perform at an elite level. That understanding drove her to pursue a path in athletic development.
From 2019 to 2021, Karlee interned at APEC in Fort Worth when she would come home for holiday breaks. After transferring to DBU, she returned to APEC as a full-time performance coach from 2022 to 2025. There, she trained athletes of all ages and backgrounds, from youth to collegiate athletes and adults.
With firsthand experience in the demands of high-level competition, Karlee is passionate about guiding others through purposeful training that builds not just stronger, faster athletes but more confident and resilient ones.

In addition to being a student-athlete, Iman interned with the Sports Performance program for 3 years. She returned to Simpson as a graduate assistant Sports Performance Coach, where she worked directly with the football team while also coaching several other athletic teams on campus.
Iman has developed a deep expertise in volleyball as well as elite volleyball-specific performance training. She has worked with athletes from a multitude of sports at all levels, from collegiate and professional to youth. Her passion for coaching stems from her commitment to helping individuals reach their full athletic potential across all dimensions of performance - focusing not only on athletes’ physical performance but also fostering mental resilience.
