"This is our first season with Gridiron and what I loved most is that they really make the sport about the kids, from the entrance on the field every game to offering extra practice times."

How do I register?

Select the program above that’s right for you. You’ll be transferred to our registration platform where you’ll be asked to either register (if it’s your first time) or login. Then just follow the steps to complete your registration:

  1. Login or Register (if it’s your first time)
  2. Complete your profile, entering your name, address and contact details. Feel free to make it personal by adding a profile pic! Click ‘Save’.
  3. Please read the full terms of service. Check the box to confirm, and click ‘Accept’.
  4. From there, you’ll be taken to your dashboard. Select ‘Register a Player’.
  5. Check the box to register a new player, and complete their information.
  6. You’ll then see a list of available programs in your area. Select the preferred program, and continue through the registration process.
What's included in registration?

League play registration typically includes at least six regular season games officiated by Gridiron officials, however this is determined by each league. Your athlete will receive an official Gridiron uniform. And at the end of the season, division champs receive special awards!

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! The earlier you register for our program, the more you save! You do not need a promo code.

If you have more than one child interested in playing, your location may offer a sibling discount. If so, it will automatically be applied at checkout. If you have specific questions, please reach out to your local commissioner.

Do you offer refunds?

Gridiron has a No Registration Fee Refund Policy. We strongly encourage purchasing Registration Protection at checkout for flexibility. Credits for future seasons may be issued if requested at least 21 days before the season starts. No refunds will be given for missed games, team/coach placement requests, or scheduling conflicts.

Here’s how “Registration Protection” works:

If you cancel before the season starts and your equipment has not shipped, you can be refunded for your season charges. If your equipment has already shipped, you can still get your registration cost minus equipment cost and Registration Protection. Season started? Registration Protection will allow you to get a prorated amount back.

What age or grade group should my child play in?

For leagues with divisions based on age:

Depending on the location, our leagues offer programs for kids 4u ("4 & Under") up through 17U ("17 & Under"). Check with your local commissioner if you have specific questions.

For leagues with divisions based on grade:

Co-ed Grade based groups are broken up into Pre-K, Kindergarten-1st Grade, 2nd-3rd Grade, 4th-5th Grade, 6th-7th Grade, and 8th-10th Grade with grade based on their current school year.

Girls-only Grade based groups are broken up into Kindergarten-2nd Grade, 3rd-5th Grade, Middle School, and our High School divisions, with grade based on their current school year.

For example, to be eligible for the Kindergarten-1st grade Co-Ed group, your player must be in either Kindergarten or 1st Grade during the current school year.

Players can play up, but will not be allowed to play down a division. So a 3rd Grader can play in the 4th-5th Grade division but a 4th Grader CAN NOT play in the 2nd-3rd Grade division.

The cutoff birthday is January 1st of this year.

How can I become a coach?

Find a league near you! During the registration process, you can volunteer to be a head coach, assistant coach, or team manager. If you’ve already registered your athlete, you can still volunteer by selecting “Volunteer” in the Gridiron Football portal and completing the next steps.

If you're already a coach of a team, you can also register a full or partial team of players. From the registration dashboard, click ‘Register a Team’ or from the side menu, select ‘Registration and then ‘Team Registration’. Please note, by registering a team you are volunteering as Head Coach.
