G Series '25 / Texas Regional Tournament

G Series / Texas. Everything's bigger in Texas, especially football. For the second year in a row, we maxed out capacity at McLane Stadium, home of the Baylor Bears and our G Series "Battle on the Brazos" tournament stop. Over the course of two days, nearly 600 kids descended on Waco, Texas for a chance to claim the elusive G Series regional flag football or 7v7 football title and a half bid invite to the Gridiron Football National Championship later this year.

G5 / SATURDAY [ TX EDITION ]

As dawn broke early Saturday morning, nearly 350 youth flag football athletes stepped onto the turf. Teams came from across the state – Houston, Austin, Dallas, Prosper and beyond – to test their skill in a defacto state championship. Over the next eight hours, competition intensified along with the winter sun (thank goodness!) as 160 boys and 160 girls, ages 7 through 17, battled it out in pool and bracket play.

And at the end of it all, seven teams walked away with the ultimate bragging rights and custom G Series rings to back them up.

G7 / SUNDAY [ TEXAS EDITION ]

Sunday brought a new day, and a new play style. 7v7. As fast as flag, but with the added intricacies of position-focused play. And play they did. 

21 teams comprising of 250 athletes ages 10 to 14, competed in more than nine hours of pool and bracket play– including, for the second year in a row, a Gridiron team from Atlanta (thanks for coming, guys!).

As the sun began to set, four champions claimed their first G Series championship of the year.
