Alongside our G Series tournament in Arizona, we were proud to introduce the Gridiron Academy & National Combine. This first-of-its-kind initiative offers high school female flag football athletes the opportunity to hear from prominent women in sports (shoutout to our Brand Ambassador and US Women's Flag Football QB, Vanita Krouch), demonstrate their skills to college recruiters through tournament play and a pro-style combine, and potentially earn a scholarship to continue their playing careers at the collegiate level.

So as four hundred young boys and girls competed nearby for the first G Series titles of the year, more than 100 high school female athletes were competing for even more.

Against the backdrop of palm trees and desert mountain ranges, these young women met with college coaches from Arizona, Iowa, Michigan, Kansas and Rhode Island. They competed in a dedicated division of the G7 tournament, playing against high school rivals and dedicated travel teams. And tested their individual skills during a rigorous combine under the lights. Three were awarded custom-painted MVP footballs signed by Vanita Krouch.

Special shoutout to two Gridiron Commissioners, Jesse Siordia (Commissioner and Head Coach at Siena Heights University in Michigan) and Ryan Hart (Commissioner and Prescott High School Head Coach in Arizona) for coaching two exceptional teams and helping run this historic event.
