G Series / Nationals. It all led to this. The 5th Annual Gridiron Football 'G Series' Youth Flag Football and 7v7 Football National Championship went down June 13th in McKinney, Texas — and it did not disappoint.
One day. One shot. No second chances.
More than 60 of the best youth flag and 7v7 football teams in the country descended on McKinney for the final chapter of the 2026 Tournament Circuit. Six states represented. Ages 6 to 18. Every player, every team, every coach — all in, from the opening whistle. By the #s:
- 61 teams. 12 divisions spanning Co-Ed Flag, Girls Flag, and 7v7 Football
- 600+ athletes. 600+ spectators packing the sidelines
- Teams repping New York, Oklahoma, Colorado, Louisiana, Florida, and Texas
- 30,000 steps walked per Gridiron staff member — because championships don't run themselves

G SERIES / NATIONALS [ GAME DAY ]
The energy hit before the first snap. Teams arrived early, locked in — the kind of focused quiet that only comes when athletes know exactly what's at stake. Parents set up their spots on the sidelines. Coaches gave their final words. And then it was time.
What followed was a full day of football that reminded everyone why they showed up. Pool play gave way to single elimination, and with every round, the margin for error disappeared completely. No tomorrow. No "we'll get 'em next time." This was it.
From the youngest 6U competitors taking the field for the first time on a national stage, to the high school athletes playing with everything on the line — the level of competition was undeniable. So was the heart.

Yes, we saw elite athleticism. Throws that drew gasps. Routes that left defenders flat-footed. Defensive stands that swung momentum in an instant. But we also saw teammates pick each other up after tough losses, opposing players dap each other up mid-game, and coaches pour into their kids the way only coaches who actually care can.
That's what the G Series is built on. And year after year, these athletes deliver.

For those who made it to the winner's circle — they earned every bit of it. Official G Series National Championship rings. An epic team trophy. And a story they'll be telling for a long time.
Five years in, the G Series keeps raising the bar. See you next year. 🏆
