G Series '25 / Arizona. Aka The Desert Showcase. On January 25th, more than 500 flag football athletes descended on the fields of Tempe, Arizona for a chance to claim the first G Series regional title of 2025 and a half bid invite to the Gridiron National Championship later this year.

The desert landscape proved a fitting backdrop for the day, with competition intensifying along with the temperature. From early morning into the evening, athletes age 6 to 14 battled it out through pool and bracket play. Fans lined the game fields from end zone to end zone, their cheers filling the air with a palpable energy. And Vanita Krouch, Gridiron Athlete Ambassador and Quarterback for the U.S. Women's Flag Football team, was among them!

Teams ranged from recreational to competitive, some in search of glory others just enjoying an extra Saturday playing the game they love. But in the end, only seven champions could be crowned. And as the sun set that night, they were.

Introducing the Gridiron Academy & National Combine
This first-of-its-kind program offers high school female flag football athletes the opportunity to hear from prominent women in sports (shoutout to our Brand Ambassador and US Women's Flag Football QB, Vanita Krouch), demonstrate their skills to college recruiters through tournament play and a pro-style combine, and potentially earn a scholarship to continue their playing careers at the collegiate level.
